Award-winning pianist Nattapol Tantikarn is recognized for his expressive depth, refined technique, and compelling stage presence— his artistry has earned him international acclaim with prizes from the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA) Young Artist Competition Northwest Division and the Wideman International Piano Competition (USA). He was also selected to compete in the Hamamatsu International Piano Competition (Japan) and the Leeds International Piano Competition (UK), two of the world’s most competitive and prestigious platforms for emerging pianists.
As a concert pianist, Nattapol has performed on world-renowned stages including Carnegie Weill Recital Hall in New York, Victoria Concert Hall and the Esplanade Recital Hall in Singapore, and the Hult Center and Beall Concert Hall in Oregon, USA.

His performances are praised for their nuance, lyricism, and technical brilliance, consistently engaging audiences through thoughtful interpretation, offering audiences a memorable and captivating musical experience.
Nattapol earned his Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA) in Piano Performance with a specialization in Piano Pedagogy from the University of Oregon under the guidance of Dean Kramer, one of the very few selected pianists to receive mentorship from the legendary pianist Vladimir Horowitz at the Mannes School of Music in New York.
His musical artistry has also been shaped by masterclasses with many of the world’s leading pianists, including André Watts, Leon Fleisher, Yefim Bronfman, Angela Hewitt, Dmitri Alexeev, Jacques Rouvier, Boris Berman, and Dominique Merlet.
A committed music educator, Nattapol served on the teaching faculty at the University of Oregon School of Music and Dance where he was also the Associate Director of the Piano Pedagogy Program. His pedagogical expertise has led to invitations to perform, adjudicate, and lead masterclasses internationally, including engagements in the United States, China, Thailand, and Singapore.
Now based in Singapore, Nattapol continues to mentor the next generation of selected group of dedicated pianists, including international competition prizewinners, and aspiring young musicians with strong artistic potential and passion for music. His teaching focuses on both strong technical foundations and artistic expression, helping each student develop their own unique musical identity in a supportive and engaging environment.
Nattapol believes in the power of music to connect, uplift, and communicate through shared experience the full complexity of human emotions. Through his performances, and original arrangements, he strives to bring classical music to wider audiences and foster a deeper appreciation for the richness of the piano repertoire.
